Leading US glove company on hand for Australian tradies and gardeners
Better and more comfortable hand protection is now available in Australia, with 110-year-old global US glove manufacturer Wells Lamont now in leading hardware retailer Bunnings Warehouse.
Founded in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1914 by Wilson Orson Wells and Maurice Lamont, Wells Lamont Corporation has been at the forefront of glove innovation ever since.
In-house experts throughout each design process, research and develop gloves that are both comfortable and adequately protect hands from impacts, cuts and abrasions.
Testament to their pioneering culture and dedication to their craft for their customers, Wells Lamont introduced water-resistant HydraHyde technology in 2015.
HydraHyde is a specially-tanned leather that is both breathable and water-resistant, keeping hands dry and protected, and the leather flexible even after repeated exposure to moisture.
The Hydrahyde leather gloves are part of a broader range available now in Bunnings that provides consumers with higher quality and better value.
Wells Lamont is now in Australia through Master Distributors, an international brand-building business responsible for nume-rous iconic lines in hardware.
“Bunnings Warehouse have long recognised the quality of Wells Lamont by issuing all their staff in all their stores a pair of Wells Lamont leather gloves,” said Richard Partington, Master Distributors’ category manager of hardware.
“This iconic global brand is now being stocked in all Bunnings stores, in both the Toolshop and Garden Tools departments,”
In the Toolshop will be five glove styles:
